He's talking about bidding with check airmen and getting displaced. I know FOs that could routinely do that and credit 160-200 hours a month.
And there are plenty of other FOs never flying, getting paid 90 hours a month.
From what I’ve heard, most don’t double dip, they just enjoy the 100 hours of credit and 25 days off.
It sounds sweet, but you’re probably giving up millions of potential earnings playing that game. I guess if you’re married to a breadwinner why not?
