Oh wow, very cool and best of luck on your new direction! I was basically in the same boat as you. I interviewed early 2019 but they were backed up on class dates. By the time they were ready for me, my family was experiencing medical issues and I had to put immediate changes on hold. I’ve been trying to get back into the queue but unsuccessful so far. Anyways, sounds like congrats are in order!
