One of my friends gave up after waiting 7 weeks for any kind of reply and headed to Republic instead. 1,900TT, 600+ multi-turbine (King Air). No ghosts in the closet. Strong package. Nothing but crickets from recruiting...
Luck of the draw? I've given up trying to figure out the airline hiring process overall - they are all different. On a more serious note - I put my app in at Republic the same day I did the application at SkyWest (April 15th) and have not heard a peep from Republic. Only thing I did get was a generic "we are starting the interview process in June" HR newsletter right around Memorial Day. I'd withdraw my app at RPA, but there is no way to do that on their dashboard (couldn't even update times or my resume), so I'm just another applicant clogging up their pool right now. Just my random thoughts, nothing more than that.
