Well since we're giving everyone a history lesson... Is it not true that Go Jet was hiring while TSA was furloughing and downgrading Captains? And is it also not true that the furloughees were offered jobs at Go Jet? And not a single one of those furloughees accepted the offer? Lost Continental flying has nothing to do with the fact that Go Jet was growing while TSA had pilots on the street. I have no problem with the company operating multiple certificates, the problem is it should be and always should have been
TSA pilots flying those airplanes.
As for the contract that you're so proud of... I heard the company threatened to give all the flying to Trans States pilots if Go Jet didn't accept the rates they were offering. Sort of a "reverse" whipsaw. And everyone already knows the company insisted on putting 50 seat rates in their as well. So tell us again how Go jet doesn't negatively effect the industry or TSA pilots more than any other regional?

FACT furloughs that happened back in summer of 06 at TSA where ONLY, I REPEAT ONLY because of Continental flying that they did not get.
They were all told they would be back in September after the last Jetstream was to be retired.....In September they recalled everone, but 80 percent found other jobs.....
From one that was there....
