I said that I was done with this thread, but I guess some people can't leave well enough alone....
With a JD under your belt, surely you learned something about logical fallacies and syllogisms and how meaningless "overwhelming sentiment" is when evaluating an argument.
As for the rest of your comments, since you apparently missed these points the first time: I *am* a working pilot, I'm *not* working for a Pt 121 carrier, I *am* one of those seeking honest career info from this site. More relevantly, I'm not a mindless sheep and not interested in the slightest in having someone else tell me what to think--be it about GoJet or anything else--regardless of how many others on this site are of like mind on the subject. (Read up on "groupthink" sometime.)

I was not telling you what to think, only the possible consequences of what you do think and the way you express it. Since you claim you are seeking flying career advise you would think that the opinion of a major airline pilot with 20 years flying experience, some of which had been spent in recruiting, would be of value to you. Instead you insult my intelligence.
You have succeeded in convincing me of one thing. Namely that the original version of my post, without the update qualifier, was more apropos.

Whatever the QOL, work environment, etc. is at GoJet, one who chooses to work there must accept he will be considered a pariah (kinda like working for the IRS, you better be able to take the heat). If being an outcast and being called (by some) a scab is acceptable, feel free look into GJ. But if you don't want to be called names, you should consider looking elsewhere.
In every industry there is at least one company is which hated. Mining (one industry which has become many times safer due to unions) in just one example. There are still mom and pop mines which were grandfathered in and are not fully subject to current regulations or fair labor practices. While legal, those mines are cursed by modern mines with higher safety requirement and better labor rules.
(what I am about to say will p!ss many folks off)
If you just love to fly and have no regard for the industry, then go ahead and work for GoJet. Just remember, you will face the wrath of many others in the industry. GoJet, while not illegal or unsafe, is a step backward for labor, and you need to accept the consequences.

This guy sounds like a prime candidate for flamebait. This is like trying to explain to someone the evils of communism even though the person insists its the the only way to run a govt........on paper. Ignore all the overwhelming real world evidence that it is indeed the worst because you are too ignorant or stubborn to listen.
He seems to use alot of words that I'm sure he needed a thesaurus for since only folks with low self esteem seem to use them and no matter how much advice that he ASKED for on why not to go to G7, he ignores it. My question to all of you is this.......would you want someone with such a stubborn mentality sitting up front on a flight your family is on? Seems to be a CRM nightmare and thus a safety hazard.

No! Not true. This guy is just like your buddy who is in love with a girl who treats him like crap. Telling him how dumb he is for dating her won't help. All we can do is keep reminding him about the time she slept with his brother, the quarterback, and the basketball team and hope he breaks up with her before he marries her.

Thread on GJ guys at FedEx/UPS, SWA. Though I don't agree, it is what it is. I don't think the folks in charge of hiring care these days where someone came from.
