Is Omni a place that you would want to stay til retiring? Or is it more of a stop on the way to Fedex or something along those lines? That's a loaded question - yes & no. Legacies do like to cherry pick ACMI and guys leave for greener pastures. Some folks like the home-basing and refuse to commute. Will Omni be around for another 30 years? That's anyone's guess.
swaps are possible per CBA but it’s rare. Mostly due to most schedules being just reserve days that get filled in just a few days in advance. You could swap days and just take whatever ends up scheduled on those days. Once they drop stuff on the schedule it becomes more complicated because airline tickets would need to be changed too and they often aren’t exchangeable.
They also aren’t likely to swap mid duty block stuff if you need travel. You’d probably have to jumpseat in that case. They’ll gateway you from/to home at the beginning and end of your duty block of days.
swapping entire lines is more likely, but again, rare.

helps to keep a copy of the bidpack and the awards to see who has which schedule.

it’s a great company. Not the typical 121.
