We’re typically in the 30-40,000lbs range.
Better is a relative term.
According to the FedEx website, our 757s have a 60,000 max payload. So you're right, you're not typically going to see weights that high. 30-40s was typical when I flew it too. Only Mexico would you see 50s -- in my experience.
