The thing is this technology is great and would probably work in most places. The problem is no one in their right mind would trust public health, government or big tech enough to comply. I'd never willingly use these technologies even though there is a good chance they would work. Even if Apple, who has been traditionally good on privacy issues, claims they aren't collected data in their little Covid app I don't trust them and don't trust the government to get a hold of this data and use it in a manner that I did not approve of.
