Horizon is seeking another contract for the CR7. The ultimate goal is for a all Q400 fleet. This I think has been brought up on the board before. The F9 flying was the only thing that ever happened good for the CR7 at Horizon. Alaska Air Group as a whole is pinching every penny they can right now, and ridding themselves of the CR7 or contracting them out right now is the only real options with the jet to not lose money with it. The Q400 can do just about every mission the CR7 can with the obvious money savings.
