How are you Horizon guys not further demoralized by this crappy rumor? What a load of garbage.

IF we went into SFO??? What?? We've been going to SFO for many years...

The 400 actually USES jetways at some locations, and parks 'near jetways' at many others. Sounds like some kind of bogus political game to me...

There's no problem with Props and Jetways...there is, however, a problem with the Politics of Airports and Airspace!

Damn the torpedoes - full-speed ahead!

What I've heard is that SFO is against turboprops because the former mayor of San Francisco didn't like them. He thought his city and its citizens were too good to fly turboprops, so they shouldn't be allowed at the airport. Since UA has a hub there and needs the feed from those Brazilias, an exception was made for SKW flights.

It's a way of life at Horizon. I've decided to leave on the first boat out of Portland that they will let me drive. Boats go fast.

Oh and just to stir the pot a little. I heard today that they are speaking with Chautauqua.

It's called Learned Helplessness. Airlines are built around this culture, and it seems to be working.

I figure the green-aspiring bay area folks would like efficient turboprops.

Ohhh just another rumor. Heard it in the van on the way to the hotel. Wouldn't surprise me one bit though.
