Do not go to work any earlier than the Doc told you... I had that done (and sinuses and tonsils too) last Feb, went to training 9 days later. Wasn't fun.. well, basic indoc was enjoyable, but then the meds ran out. I darn sure couldn't have handled too many cabin alt changes.
BTW- Have you noticed your two front teeth feeling funny? Mine still do occasionally even this long after...

haha yea they felt numb at first...I haven't taken pain meds other than when I was going to remove the packing (I took the max allowable for that). I feel pretty decent...but not planning on flying for at least another week or so (I see the doc tomorrow).
