Guys/Gals, I’ll be joining you as a CRJ driver in the coming months and had some questions about commuting. Forgive me if this is posted in the wrong place…this is my very first post on here.

I hope to be based in Houston at some point, which I see is not the most junior base, at least not today. Would it make sense to just fly out of the most junior base until I know I can hold a line in Houston, transfer there, and then transfer from there back to the most junior base when the time comes for upgrade?
