Would it make sense to just fly out of the most junior base until I know I can hold a line in Houston, transfer there, and then transfer from there back to the most junior base when the time comes for upgrade?
Do not commute if you don’t have to. Seriously. Don’t do it. Promise me you won’t do it if you live in base. Not even for a line elsewhere.
