You'll be flying lots of domestic trips. Many aren't commutable on one or both ends. Living in base, no problem--as you said, short call from home... I like them, fewer time zones......but.....if you get to be one of those high maintenance Capt's that don't like domestic because you have to talk on the radio or do weather? Well, have fun!
I hope you are right. Ideally I would prefer to avoid international. I did it for 20 years on the 756 and 77 as an FO and been there done that so no burning desire to see the Far East or Europe. No matter what I won't miss circling approaches at mins in Bozeman in -40 weather. I WILL miss my tray table,
Did I read something about the bunks being redone? I know the -300s have the nice new bunk, but did the GE engine planes get something new?
