Did you actually read how that study was done?? Basically people showed up and said they might have covid. They were given 1 ivermectin pill plus azithromycin in a full 5 day dosing regiment. They were not tested for covid. Strangely enough most were cured of the symptoms they had! Azithromycin Is highly effective against a host of ailments prevalent in the area. If they didn’t come back they were pronounced in the study cured of covid by ivermectin! Those that came back were tested for covid with a 22% positive rate. Of the covid positive group hospitalized there was no real change in death rate.
I spend 10 weeks a year on the Caribbean, Azithromycin is the go to drug for anyone visiting the doctor because it’s highly effective against most island illnesses many of which mimic covid in symptoms. Ivermectin is also widely available do to all the parasitic illnesses. Weird however they only gave them one pill instead of a normal dosage over time.
