I don't know the guy, but you can bet the feds and Boeing were looking for a convenient scapegoat. Looks like they found one. It's perfect. There's damning texts, he isn't rich or powerful, and he wasn't high up enough at Boeing to imply some sort of fault may lie with upper management.
yup. Fully agreed. He was high up enough to be the conduit to the FAA and low enough not to bring down Boeing.
