However, for those of you who have been on the 7/7 commuter life for a long time, what have you found that works best for you for your additional personal carry item? Backpack? Briefcase? Small duffle, etc. If you feel strongly about one, please give a brand/model. No shame for low OR high budget options. In my former career, some people were passionate about Tumi/Briggs and others content with a old Jansport.

I rarely rarely ever airlined at my last flying job. I’m starting at NJ soon, so I have been trying to figure out what might work best for me. Always interested in the input of those who have done it for awhile.
