AUS used to be great when you were downtown, but now there isn't really anything close by except for the Gents club up the street and walmart.

My point about the 30 hour layover is that utilization could be better. Looking at the CF7 staffing grids we are short pilots every day, but it seems like we are all sitting somewhere for 3 hours here and 4 hours there and then the long layovers. I have a 23 hour sit in JFK for what? It was a one leg day report at 1800 fly to AUS and I'm done.
