I don't think Breeze is a scab airline. It doesn't exist to get around anyone else's labor contract etc etc.. it's just an airline sold to pilots as the next jetblue. And because of that, everyone is taking in the teeth on pay and benefits. Neeleman hasn't even delivered on the original value proposition.
A non union startup aimed squarely at the unionized LCCs? A SkyWest with big planes? This sort of thing was discussed in great length in Flying the Line I and was always challenged or unionized.
