Congrats to those that just got hired and those interviewing soon! I'm studying hard and will be interviewing soon.
LAX is about a 1 hour and 50 min to 3 1/2 hour drive for me, depending on traffic. Always assumed it would be my eventual domicile. FAT and PSP are secondary options. All of them involve a hefty drive. However, the wife might have an opportunity to land a 2-3 year job right next to the MSP airport and now we're weighing options. Her career movement is the deciding factor, but the thought of being able to live in base and close to the airport is a very attractive option to me.
I fully realize any future predictions about a base are wildy speculative, but can anyone give me insight as to what life is like right now at MSP for the CRJ? I imagine MSP is far less desirable than a lot of other bases and the seniority dates for FOs and CAs support that, so seniority and the ability to hold a line could be quicker, as well as upgrade. How about the blocks out of MSP for CRJ pilots? Crappy? Decent? Any and all input welcome!
