There were 2 days in 2020 where electricity demand exceeded supply. People generally lost their power for less than 2 hours. We had no rolling blackouts because of demand in 2021.
I believe some rural areas may have had their power shutoff for high winds this year but I don't think that affected very many people.
Long story short, rolling blackouts aren't an issue.
