I know it is rare but possible to get the Bus out of LAX right away, which would be incredible (I'm cool with redeyes.) Getting the Bus out of JFK or Boston would be fine too, and I could hopefully find my way to LAX fairly quickly with the planned growth. I'm 42. I'm trying to sort through what the timeline on the ERJ would look like?
How long is new hire training?
12 month seat lock starts on arrival, after training, or after IOE?
How long is transition training on the Bus?
Commuting to reserve is never ideal, but I know there are lots of LAX-JFK flights on JetBlue every day. How are the reserve lines built? 18 days? Can it be split into 3 groups of 6?
What is the commuter policy, two options needed?
Are there many stuck in this situation, does the jump fill up?
Anything else I'm not thinking of yet?
I hope you are applying to United too. I know several new hires getting LAX right off the bat.
