Yeah, that much I understand. That's a nice feature to get notified of all of your trips. But if you're junior manned upon arrival and you fail to check out and get notified, I'd think that's an automatic SD.
I know I'm going to catch a lot of flack for this, but I'll say it anyway. We beg, pleade, and fight with scheduling to do everything legally. When they slip up and give an illegal trip, just a friendly correction from us usually fixes the problem. A junior manning assignment is perfectly legal. It seems hypocritical for us to complain when they screw up, but then to run and hide and not fulfill our end of the contract when they provide a perfectly legal JM.
