But the latest bid released had 33 trainees, if I remember correctly. That's a huge chunk, relative to the size of the 700/900 pilot group.
I think the point is, while we're not bare bones...33 is a VERY large chunk..Comair likes to stretch things out, and gives out these sparingly to see what they can get away with staffing wise. (See Captain upgrades)
