International fleets have longer trips & blocks of reserve, up to 14 days.
I did morning turns for almost 4 years, with the exception of the June/July bid when I did day flying. I think I had less than 20 hotel stays each of those years, and a bulk of those stays I did have were self-induced via trip pickup or trading.
Night flying ain’t easy, but the QOL that comes from living in domicile cannot be overstated.
I wasn't aware of that. When I see a lot of take offs during the day, are those pretty senior guys? There is a big push at night, I can hear you guys over my house.
