There’s a schedule at UPS to suit just about any Louisville area resident…
Reserve (many “professional reserves” here)
Turn lines (out and backs)
Base Trip Lines (more/shorter trips)
Week on/off
International fleets have longer trips & blocks of reserve, up to 14 days.
I did morning turns for almost 4 years, with the exception of the June/July bid when I did day flying. I think I had less than 20 hotel stays each of those years, and a bulk of those stays I did have were self-induced via trip pickup or trading.
Night flying ain’t easy, but the QOL that comes from living in domicile cannot be overstated.

Day flying tends to be more senior than night flight, yes...but its probably attainable once you get to 80% or so in seat.

Completely unrelated and I am sorry. But I see you’re from Louisville Ky. I am currently in Lexington and just got my CFI, have the CFII ride jan 5. Do you have any suggestions for finding a flight school. Just moved to Lexington in September to save some $ being from NY flying a lot more expensive. So trying not to move again lol again I apologize for being off topic
