Especially considering the last bid had LAX as needing 50 FO'S in LAXER. HNL-HND is coming back next year to ER, Bob states ER needs more FO'S for intl 3 crew ops that they shrunk during covid. I saw his memo too, but I notice LAX7ER is green slip city and has been for months. I can’t figure out why they allow it to be understaffed, particularly if 3-man crews are on the horizon for summer? If I was going to close the category, I would run it thin to minimize displacements. SEA7ER is comparatively fat, perhaps they expect those pilots to displace to SEA320?
But what do I know about manning… I would have VEOPed before displacements, not the other way around!
