Where do pilots usually position to get to the airplane, are there typical cities ?
Do pilots and flight attendant crews usually stay together for the entire stretch ? If Omni provides home basing does the pilot keep airline miles or hotel points, and is there a provision for business class travel if international positioning is required ?

From my friend who has been there for three years: Hotel and airline points/miles/status are yours to keep. Builds up VERY fast. Apparently there are UAL travel benefits, but he never uses them because he can use his airline miles to cover his vacation travel for him and his family. Any deadhead travel outside CONUS greater than three hours in length is business or first, but you can waive and take a payout at your discretion.
From what he has told me, a lot of passive travel in and out of Shannon, Ireland, Bucharest, Romania, and Alliance airport near DFW.
