Definitely the "big boy" thing to do. I've had this exact thing happen where they tried to put a RES assignment on me after I was full. Quick call to the scheds and it was removed and FULL put on my schedule. Took two minutes with absolutely no fuss. You gotta remember they're working with a lot of noobs in scheduling so mistakes do happen. It's not personal. Just be a professional.
Well that certainly works if it's a "quick" call, but the last 5ish times I've called scheduling it was NOT a quick call. 47 hold, 35 min hold, then three other calls that ended with me hanging up at 10 minutes after noone picked up. I'm more than happy to let them know I'm full, but I'm not going to sit around all day waiting on them to answer. I expect them to be professional as well and answer in a timely manner. Otherwise, they'll figure it out when they finally call me.
