Im sure there are good arguments to staying at FedEx, but if your only personal negatives are first year pay and probation then don’t let that hold you back. That first year will be gone in no time, but you have the rest of your career to enjoy driving to work. Everyone has different reasons, but I’d choose driving to work personally.
