For example many NYC pilots live in Jersey or PA about an hour (with no traffic) from Newark, but they are h#ll and gone from JFK. This is perfectly legal per the contract. Also, there is not publish time requirement for reporting; it just says able to report in a reasonable amount of time. or something like that.
This is the case in NYC.

However, per the contract, LAX pilots' "prompt availability" on short call is measured with respect to LAX only, even though they may be required to cover LAX, ONT, SNA, BUR, or LGB. (Section 23 S.10.)

Along those lines, a buddy of mine was asking me a question the other day that I didn't know the answer to. For you LAX-based guys, does Delta provide parking at all the co-terminals or just LAX? In other words, are you on the hook for parking (in addition to the gas!) if you get called out to ONT?
