Outsider’s question…how does vacation work at WN in terms of accrual schedule (weeks/yr for longevity) and credit for dropping trips (dropped trip value/hours per day/etc). This is off the top of my head, but two weeks for your first 5 years then on year 6 you get a third. 5 weeks is max accrual. Your first year is prorated. Line bidding drops the trips that touch your vacation week with pay (lots of little caveats and gotchas to this, but that's the main idea). We can block bid weeks, which can turn two weeks into 4-5 off pretty easily. Vacation is worth 26.25 before any trips are dropped.
