If you can PD any of your on call days that will lower your guar, thus making it easier to hit "full.".
Remember that a reserve cannot fly on any day with a PD on it. So don't drop any days you want to YS over.
I never quite figured out the coverage sequence for YS on an X day, but it sure seemed as though everytime I did so I got exactly what I asked for. Almost as if they filled my request before people actually on res.
