Another concern came up is having to cover 3 airports if based in LGA as a newhire. Is that accurate? How is it possible on year one pay when one-way Uber ride is around 100$ in that area? Does AA help with commuting costs at all?

Thanks again for the input!
Yes, if you are "LGA" based you will have to cover all three airports. You wont get any help from the company with commuting costs. You can get to EWR using public transportation, it's been few years, but it used to run around $50, and take 2-3 hours. The flight attendants have some scheduled vans between airports, in the past you could ride if there was space, but you cant count on that.
