Just sayin I’m top 30% in the company. Top 40% in base. Holidays off. No red eyes, no international. And In January I have 16 days off .. 7 off in a row , 5 off in a row, and 4 off in a row. And if I wanted more off I could drop any of my trips and get nearly two weeks off in a row. Or I could drop the entire month and be a ski bum.
if we got gobbled up by WN I’m guessing I wouldn’t be able to check off any of those boxes.
At WN you would have 16 days off on reserve half the months. 15 the other half, never redeyes (sofar), average days off over 16 per month for all line holders, if you are senior way better schedule flexibility, checkerboard vacation weeks and get 150 hours credit working 10 days in the busy months. You could not be more wrong. I am at NK, but family at WN. The only thing holding us up, it took us 8 years to get to 25% company wide, but without that growth WN beats us soundly, even before profit sharing.
