A company has knowingly hired pilots from another company. Many of these pilots only intention for working at a particular company was so they could get on at another, slightly, if at all, more reputable company, both doing flying that should be done for much much much higher wages. Use and abuse! Sooner or later, another company will undercut both of these, and it will be, hilarious. Choose wisely, pick your poison.
Esay there, that's me you're talking about. Outside the airline industry, it was not always obvious that mesa had all those issues. Those of us who went in uninformed paid a price for that...but most folks with any self-respect departed within a year or two, which does tend to lower the common denominator of those remaining. I was geography limited to the west, interviewed at eagle and mesa and hadn't heard back from SKW yet. Based on what I knew at the time, mesa was a better choice than eagle (at the time, but not today).
I have to admit with all the bad press these days, I have reservations about anyone who would go work there today. It would be hard not to know what you're getting into.
