I keep hearing from pilots about how the A321 NEO will outperform the 757 with its new big engines. They have basically the same thrust as the CEO version. They don’t shine in thrust but do shine in fuel burn. They are looking at a thrust increase but will still leave it well short of the 757 and it has a smaller wing.
