Do we get a uniform allowance? No. However Abbots has a new hire package for around $800 that includes hat, blazer, 3 pants, 3 shirts, wings, name tag, and epaulets.
What's the current schedule after your first two weeks of indoc? Depends on a/c. Some get 3-4 days off...some get 3 weeks off.
What does A/C training consist of during the two weeks? No specific a/c training during indoc.
How many days on the road for domestic vs. intl, reserve vs. line holder? As a reserve I get 12 or 13 days off and the time away from base varies month to month.
What are turns like? - Is it like a SWA 25 min heyday, or can you mosey about the terminal drinking $3.50 lattes? I've seen 50 min to 3 hours...just depends.

I got lots of "generic" answers for this stuff, but just looking for some more "realistic" expectations.

This may be a stupid set of questions, but hey, I'll ask them (there has to be AT LEAST 1 other newb thinking about this stuff!?)

Also, recommendations for Flight/Travel bags. Should I wait until I find out what plane I'm going to be on? (I'm assuming my backpack and Samsonite just won't "cut it!" anymore)

Appreicate any and all info everyone provides
Good luck in training. Its very professional and relaxed.
