I got unstacked both for xmas and new years, I bid 35% in base (been here over 7 years). Our pay is stil way behind. I work 15 days a month to make as much as a 8 year SWA FO makes in 12 days (and I am a captain). If you get hired today in the next 20 years 30% of the people ahead of you will retire, and because we don't have NB/WB all of them are ahead of you. If you go to TOXIC AA, 75% will retire before you, and those 25% will be on the WB, so you can be the number 1 NB-CA instead of bidding 30% 20 years in.
I couldn’t tell you why you got “unstacked” You said your a CA. I’m an FO. I don’t know what base your in or what happened with your bid/award. That is unfortunate, but again I couldn’t tell you why that happened to you.

All I know is I am beyond happy here. I flew an Airbus for an airline that treated people like Mesa prior 🤷🏻‍♂️. I pretty much always do what I need to do in my personal life and am able to manipulate my schedule as I see fit to accommodate what I want/need to do. Does QOL suck at United (where I have quite a few friends)? No. Am I able to do things they wish they could? Yes.

I almost never do PHL/BWI-LAX/LAS. I’m pretty much over and done being in an airplane after 3.5-4 hours. I would never bid widebody even if I could hold it at a legacy. If we ever got 330/350s here. Have at it.

So… I could care less about WB flying. With 15% free money in a DC, QOL to do whatever I want most every month, I really don’t see any reason leaving. I’m going to retire with 2-3+ M at either shop.

People can do whatever it is they feel/want to do. I am very happy here. A vast majority of people I fly with are.
