Are there factors I should consider that I might not be thinking of right now?
Congratulations on your CJO. I’ve emphasized a few things from your own post to narrow your focus a little bit. First off, great idea being a Florida resident, 0.0% EI wins every time.

I ask you this, what do you give up by leaving Spirit? Barely a year (which is nothing) , you’ve “enjoyed your time so far”….with a SLI there is a chance you won’t enjoy it as much as you do right now because of more senior JetBlue people coming in.

B6/NK might grow to the size of AAL as one other poster said……….that is a possibility…….a very remote one. Where as AAL and UAL are already that size WITH retirements. B6/NK will grow with people coming in senior to you not from the bottom and they are WITHOUT retirements.

United has many bases, many fleets, as you say Opportunities….. if you want right seat wide body flying or quick narrow body upgrade it’s there and it’s your choice. Choices like this are a luxury, a luxury currently unavailable to B6/NK crews pre and post merger.

The factors I would think is now is long term……..what do you want to do when you are 50? Dont let potentially having to commute to San Fran for a 8 months get in the way of a 30+ career at the top of the food chain.

I would also look at the difference in pay on narrow body aircraft and multiply it by 75= z then z*12=v.. then v* 22 (or how many years you have left - 12)….then see what you could do with that $……

Replied to your PM. Sorry I didn’t see it!
