If you are CC72 or CC76, they have to take you. Therefore, you can work 11 on/2 off for months on end and we have some doing this. However, after the LOA ends, they don't have to take you on off days and the long tours revert back to 8 day tours max. Also, company will be caught up with pilots on line and airplanes received .

For a comparison, I am at the top of the seniority list on max pay in the Latitude as a Captain and only made 290K and that includes a 30K bonus payout for this year due to the CBA passage and 10 extended days at 25K and both these won't be repeated this year. I have already been denied twice to work during my vacations but to be forthcoming, they weren't over Christmas and New Years.
