There is reason why the majors getting involved with zero to hero flight training programs for future staffing. The regionals have literally zero idea how they are going to attract pilots and most if not all of them have pathway/flow programs to the legacies/majors. Where in the hell are places like Breeze and Avelo going to find pilots? Breeze hasn't even been operating that long (about a year?) and already has to find foreign pilots to staff it. Why would anyone go there over other airlines? You basically need the same quals to work for Breeze right now, as you do Delta. Delta is hiring pilots without degrees and giving CJOs for future sim dates because they can't staff quickly enough...
How many pilots has Delta hired without a degree, not including flows? Yes they changed the requirement to have a degree to apply, but that doesn't mean they are scrapping the bottom of the barrel yet.
