Dont be lazy and read the contract. Its very clear what 8 represents. We aren't talking about minimum days off, its days off that are guaranteed to be yours after final schedule. They are not all guaranteed to be off.

okay, spoon feed me. Where does, in our CBA, does a reserve have any less protection than a line holder? Neither can be required to start early, both can be extended the same way. No reserve is on reserve on his day off.
