I kinda figured they were trained to do their cabin stuff and I was trained to do my cockpit stuff. If the PIC has to inform each and every FA of their roles on each and every leg, that’s going to be some brief.
I do my best to always introduce myself and shortly brief the FA’s, informing them to not escalate is part of the brief.
Hopefully that clears up your confusion from my statement.
