Look at the size of DCI in 2010, and look at it now. Of all operators carrying DL passengers (DL, Endeavor, Skywest, Republic) only one is growing its seniority list reliably. RJ shuttle flying is being dropped into the bid pack as we speak. Look at the stuff out of LGA that used to be 100% RJ. It’s not just 220s, there’s what, 18 321neos coming this year, and over two dozen used 739s, they’ll all filter in and around the system.
Guarantee the same arguments over 50 seaters now were had over props. “You can’t get rid of them, too many markets” etc etc.
