I received the offer tonight for an April class date, I’m very excited to get started! I am currently living in western CT, about 35 minutes from HPN and 1:15 from BDL. Is there anyone based at either of these places or who lives in the area who would recommend one over the other? I understand that HPN is a service hub and busy port of call for NJ aircraft and owners, does that make it a more appealing base? By more appealing I suppose I mean fewer Uber / rental car trips. I imagine being HPN based involves a lot of Ubering to NYC airports or TEB, vs BDL which I imagine is consistently going to be an airline flight to begin and end a tour.

Alternatively is it an exercise in futility to try to game anything and just take the base with the shortest personal commute? Thank you!
