Most of the complaints I see here are from people who have likely only worked at piedmont, otherwise they would know that the regionals in general are all pretty much the same, and piedmont is actually pretty decent. Our compensation is higher, stability from AA money, a consistent top performer, typically short rsv, typically fast upgrade, guaranteed light at the end of the tunnel should you choose to stick around for it just to name a few. However it’s no secret that our contract is garbage thanks to the former union guys, rsv rules are pretty crappy, lines are inefficient, and the recruiters are lying to get people in the door. But I can tell you from experience, the grass isn’t greener at another regional. They all have their problems. Your best bet is to find the one that gives you best quality of life with bases. While far from perfect, piedmont has been good to me. You just have to know what you’re signing up for when you start at the regionals.
