Our current book order takes us to 300 planes by 2027.

With staffing at approximately 16 pilots per jet, 16 x 300 = 4,800 pilots [approximately].

We’re at around 2,900 pilots right now — we carry slightly more Captains than First Officers and, of course, there’s always those that’ll bypass upgrade. However, anyone coming on property now should expect to remain a First Officer for many, many years at a rate significantly below other majors or, if you’re lucky, be an extremely junior reserve captain also making significantly below your industry peers.
