So I’m at a crossroads, 3 flights into my PPL license and I’m finding out I will eventually need surgery on my right foot for a break in my 5th metatarsal I had years ago that never properly healed. My question is would you guess push through and finish Private training and then possibly Instrument training or have the surgery now as I’ve probably not gained enough knowledge to forget. I’d be set back about 2-4 months I imagine from being able to fly, and I’m trying to finish my PPL and Instrument before August due to VA funding. Suggestions/thoughts?
