Don't like that idea at all ... as a local guy I prefer short call. The whole point is that the trips in open time all get assigned to LCR who end up flying more. When staffing was better SCR hardly ever flew (except during the summer), that was why local guys would bid SCR leaving LCR for the commuters.
When staffing was better LCR hardly flew too. There’s tons of stuff that drops in open time inside of 14 hours too, which will bypass LCR and go to SCR. There’s advantages to both and in the end they both fly roughly the same.
